About the Firm

At Harris Beach, we work hard to ensure we live up to our firm’s vision: “Client Solutions that Exceed Expectations.”

Harris Beach is a member of the environmental sustainability program known as the ABA-EPA Law Office Climate Challenge launched in 2007 by the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy and Resources in cooperation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The ABA-EPA Law Office Climate Challenge is designed to encourage law offices to take specific steps to conserve energy and resources, as well as reduce emissions of greenhouse gases which cause global climate change and other pollutants. We are participating in the Best Practices for Office Paper Management program in conjunction with its Practice Green℠ initiative to promote environmental stewardship through internal waste reduction, recycling, and energy conservation practice.

For the two years between 2007 and 2009, the firm achieved an 11 percent reduction in electricity. All copiers default to double-sided/duplex printing and all offices purchase copy paper that contains 30 percent post-consumer recycled content. All offices have paper shredding and recycling programs and drop locations for recycling of cans. Harris Beach continues to aggressively recycle batteries, envelopes, paper, plastic, binders, and related office supplies.
