Harris Beach seeks an associate to assist with all types of business and commercial litigation from contract disputes to complex litigation. 

Responsibilities:

• Draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, etc.
• Research various issues and collaborate with senior attorneys about strategies
• Take and defend depositions
• Represent our clients in disputes in mediation/arbitration proceedings and/or represent at courtroom appearances

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years litigation experience
• Admission to NYS bar (or ability to waive in)
• Exceptionally strong writing skills are required
• Must have excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization
• Some overnight travel may be required
