Marital and Divorce Law

In cases of divorce, we work closely with our clients to achieve a favorable financial outcome by handling equitable distribution of property, including business interests, professional licenses, pensions and profit sharing plans. We handle complex divorces that involve closely-held businesses and business tax issues.

Adoptions

We handle all types of adoptions, including private adoptions, agency adoptions and overseas adoptions. We have a proven track record with adoption contracts and preventing problems before they occur.

Assisted Fertility

As a result of the growing trend toward artificial insemination, in-vitro fertilization and surrogate motherhood, we have expanded our family law practice to handle all areas of assisted fertility. We work closely with our clients to ensure that their personal decision to try an alternative method of conception does not become the next “made-for-TV” movie.

Other Family Law

We have extensive experience handling palimony and non-marital partnership agreements. We represent clients in paternity cases as well as for support, custody or visitation of non-marital children. We also handle grandparents’ rights and guardianship cases.
