Successful Jury Verdict Achieved in Izzo Golf v. King Par Golf
Harris Beach received a favorable jury verdict on June 18 for long-term client Izzo Golf, totaling approximately $4.7 million. In addition to the monetary award, the jury also found that the infringement was willful, so that Izzo can apply for an award of enhanced damages and attorney’s fees. This patent infringement matter was tried for damages and willful infringement the week of June 14 in U. S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
