Mr. Stonehill is a member of the firm and co-leader of the Health Care Industry Team. He counsels and represents hospitals, residential care facilities and other institutional health care providers and multi‑institutional systems in all types of corporate and administrative legal matters.  Selected as one of the Best Lawyers in Americaand listed in New York Super Lawyers, Mr. Stonehill’s legal practice focuses on corporate organization and reorganization, multi‑institutional affiliations and ventures, managed care systems and organizations, state and federal regulatory compliance, operations, accreditation, contract preparation and negotiation, and medical staff issues.

Professional & Community Activities

Mr. Stonehill is a member of the New York State, Monroe County, and District of Columbia Bar Associations. He also participates in the American Health Lawyers Association and Cornell's Sloan Association.

Mr. Stonehill has served as an instructor and guest lecturer for educational institutions such as Cornell University and the Rochester Institute of Technology, and he has published health care related articles in Healthcare Financial Management.
