Steven D. Wilson
Senior Counsel

Mr. Wilson is senior counsel to the firm and serves on the Energy Industry Team. Mr. Wilson’s practice focuses in areas of energy law including electric generation and transmission line siting, municipal law, state and federal permitting, hydroelectric relicensing, utility rate cases, condemnation, and mergers and acquisitions. He represents developers, independent power producers and regulated utilities before state and federal administrative agencies, including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and New York State Public Service Commission. He also represents clients in state and federal courts. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Wilson continued graduate studies in economics and business administration at the State University of New York at Albany.

During law school, Mr. Wilson served as Associate Editor of the Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology.
