Mr. Garry is a partner of the firm and a member of the Business and Commercial Litigation, Insurance Litigation and Product Liability Defense, and Financial Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights Practice Groups with a focus on commercial foreclosure. Mr. Garry is an experienced trial attorney who focuses his legal practice in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation and personal injury defense. He has extensive experience in shareholder actions, corporate dissolutions, factoring agreements litigation, UCC actions, commercial real estate and leasing actions, complex foreclosure actions, receivership actions in both state and federal courts, premises liability, product liability, automobile accidents, roadway design litigation, worksite related accidents, slip-and-falls and 1983 Civil Right Actions.
Mr. Garry provides representation to local municipalities in various litigation actions and to not-for-profit corporations, private companies and individuals on contract actions, business matters, purchase and sale agreement, financial transactions, leasing and other matters relating to real estate development, ownership and operation.
Professional & Community Activities
Mr. Garry is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the Nassau County Bar Association and has an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Garry previously served as a member of the Joint Committee of the Brooklyn Bar Association and The Association of the Bar in the City of New York Judicial Screening Committee. Mr. Garry is active in his local community youth activity programs.
