Harris Beach Attorney Judy N. Wagner of our Wills, Trusts and Estates Practice Group will speak at the 2023 Women and Dementia Conference: Research, Resilience and Hope, presented by the Alzheimer’s Association of Western New York.

As part of the panel, Judy will discuss legal and financial issues related to Alzheimer’s and dementia, and how these topics tend to fall to women caregivers.

The Aug. 10 event, scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cheektowaga Senior Center, is open to the public in person or via Zoom.

Judy has been a frequent speaker lately, previously covering “Estate, Long Term Care Planning and Asset Protection” in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association of Western New York, and asset protection and long-term care planning at a University at Buffalo’s HR Virtual Workshop.

She has upcoming engagements scheduled for Aug. 24, when she will discuss understanding trusts in the University at Buffalo’s HR Virtual Workshop, and on Sept. 28, when she’ll speak on understanding and simplifying the end of life as part of the same workshop series.

This series, intended for UB faculty and staff, focuses on wellness, working remotely and other professional development topics. Wagner will also speak on Oct. 19 about preparing for caring and on Nov. 16 about financial wellness.
