Economic Development in Long Island Thrives with Stakeholder Collaboration

As many local municipal leaders know, a key to economic development is collaboration amongst key project stakeholders as well as those in the larger community. In Long Island in particular, the hamlet of North Amityville in the Town of Babylon used collaboration to help drive its economic development projects forward, most recently seen with the ribbon-cutting at the Greybarn Development.

We recently had the opportunity to discuss successful economic development initiatives in the New York Real Estate Journal, providing commentary on how collaboration has helped drive economic development in Long Island. For the Greybarn development in particular, the project involved multiple community stakeholders, and has had a significant impact on the hamlet of North Amityville.
