Beth Ela Wilkens, partner in the Corporate Practice Group and member of the Financial Institutions and Capital Markets Industry Team, has been selected by the Volunteer Legal Services Project (VLSP) of Monroe County, Inc. as a Pro Bono Hero. She was honored in a ceremony on Oct. 3.
Beth has been a tireless volunteer at the VLSP Help Center. The staff there staff unanimously agreed she is most deserving of this recognition. The Daily Record article mentions “She has been a dedicated pro bono volunteer for VLSP since 2014, donating more than 73 hours assisting unrepresented litigants at the Help Center at the Hall of Justice. Wilkens has been a champion of furthering the Help Center’s mission of helping those without an attorney access the courts. Wilkens has been labeled a “Help Center Super Volunteer” as a result of her commitment to go above and beyond for those seeking guidance at the Help Center and for mentoring others.”
