Partner Chris Palermo authored a review of the 5th Edition of Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts, published in the December issue of Westchester Lawyer, the monthly magazine of the Westchester County Bar Association. Commercial Litigation serves as a procedural and strategic guide to business and commercial litigation in New York, including litigation in the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court.
The treatise also has a distinctly Harris Beach feel: Counsel Vicki Graffeo co-authored Chapter 143 on CPLR Article 78 Challenges to Administrative Determinations, while partners Dale Worrall and Kelly Foss co-authored Chapter 80 on Marketing to Potential Business Clients.
Commercial Litigation gets Chris’s unqualified endorsement; in his review, he observes that the treatise “helps level the playing field by effectively partnering small firm and solo practitioners with 256 highly experienced judges and litigators.” Chris is part of both the New York City and White Plains offices. He served as Secretary to the Commercial Courts Task Force and is an appointed member of the Commercial Division Advisory Council, which advises the Chief Judge on matters concerning the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court.
