This week’s City & State highlights an “often overlooked group:” individuals with roots in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA.) The media organization aims to change that with extensive reporting and its first “Power of Diversity: Middle Eastern and North African 50” List
We’re thrilled to see Associate Azin Ahmadi on this list at No. 43. Azin is part of our Immigration Law Practice Group, where she counsels employers and individuals on both non-immigrant and immigration visa options (H-1B, E-3, TN, E-1, E-2, L-1, and B-1), as well as employment-based green card options through PERM Labor Certification, EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3 categories. Azin also works with individual clients in a range of matters involving family-based/individual immigration.
Azin is an Iranian immigrant who grew up in Germany. She previously worked at The Legal Project, Inc. in Albany as a staff attorney and an Equal Justice Works/AmeriCorps fellow in the New State Family Security Project, providing legal representation in all aspects of immigration law, including humanitarian relief and family-based petitions.
Congratulations to Azin!
