Collaboration Helps Drive Economic Development in Long Island
Dec 16, 2016
Working together, local officials, community leaders, businesses, and developers completed a successful revitalization and development project in North Amityville, in the Town of Babylon on Long Island. North Amityville has had its share of economic challenges, but a sign of the continued economic development in this Long Island area was recently seen with the ribbon-cutting of Rechler Equity’s Greybarn development.
Anthony Manetta, a consultant with Harris Beach and its non-legal subsidiary HB Solutions, was recently featured in the New York Real Estate Journal, providing commentary on how collaboration has helped drive economic development in Long Island. For the Greybarn development in particular, the project involved multiple community stakeholders, and has had a significant impact on the hamlet of North Amityville.
