A surge of development in Westchester County and other areas in the Hudson Valley is driving demand for a range of ancillary business services – particularly in the law. The Harris Beach White Plains office has been expanding to meet that need, according to a Sept. 19 story in the Westchester County Business Journal. Harris Beach White Plains has grown from two attorneys to eight over the past several years, and is not done yet. “In Yonkers, we’re talking about billions of dollars of development,” Darius Chafizadeh, managing partner of the White Plains office, told the Business Journal. “And they’re having a boom there in New Rochelle. And we’re seeing it in other places in the county, too.” Harris Beach supports development in many ways, via active practices in public finance, municipal law and other areas.
