Four members of the Harris Beach Immigration Law Practice Group have been invited to present at the American Immigration Lawyers Association Annual Conference on Immigration Law. AILA is a professional association of more than 15,000 attorneys and law professors that seeks to promote justice, advocate for fair immigration law and policy and enhance the quality of legal representation.
This year’s annual AILA conference will be virtual, with a planned keynote address from the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas. The Harris Beach attorneys who are among the presenters across the 80 sessions:
- Senior Counsel Lu (Kevin) Wang, discussing “Cultural Awareness: How to Promote Diversity and Inclusion” from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 9.
- Partner Danielle Rizzo, co-leader of the Immigration Law Practice Group, presenting on “NAFTA/USMCA: The Current State of Play at the Southern and Northern Borders” from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., Thursday, June 10.
- Partner Jason Abrams, discussing “Defining and Defending Bona Fide Marriages” from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 11.
- Partner L.J. D’Arrigo, co-leader of the Immigration Law Practice Group, presenting on “H-2 Practice: What Are We So Afraid Of?” from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., Saturday, June 12.
