Myles B. Fischer, an attorney with extensive experience in sophisticated estate planning, administration and tax matters, has joined Harris Beach PLLC as a senior counsel and member of the firm’s statewide Wills, Trusts and Estates team.
Myles is the latest addition to the growing Capital Region offices of Harris Beach. He counsels clients statewide on matters that include estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, income tax planning and business succession planning through creative and tailored strategies, such as grantor-retained income trusts, split-interest charitable trusts, sales to intentionally defective grantor trusts, life insurance and split-dollar planning. He is also experienced in advising high-net-worth families and coordinating planning among a family’s professional advisory team.
A member of the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York, Inc., Myles belongs to the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York, and the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates, Tax, and Elder Law & Special Needs sections.
