Abbie Eliasberg Fuchs leads the Harris Beach U.S. News and World Report nationally ranked Tier 1 Mass Torts and Industry-Wide Litigation Practice Group, along with the firm’s Product Liability/General Liability and Insurance Coverage practice groups. She concentrates in the areas of toxic torts, complex products liability litigation, complex commercial disputes and catastrophic injury cases where immediate responses are required, and serves as national coordinating counsel to Fortune 100 manufacturers and distributors. David M. Clar leads the Harris Beach Corporate Practice Group. He focuses his practice on corporate transactions and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and asset transactions, strategic investments, reorganizations, joint ventures, licensing, distribution, software contracting and other general business and corporate matters. He regularly serves as counsel for buyers and sellers of companies on a broad range of U.S. and international transactions, with an emphasis on technology companies, and provides representation for several multi-jurisdictional health service, manufacturing and distribution clients.
John R. Buhrman is a member of the Harris Beach Corporate Practice Group. He counsels businesses throughout all phases of their development, assisting them on organizational matters, general business contracts, governmental compliance issues, financial transactions, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate legal issues. In connection with mergers and acquisitions, John represents clients in all stages of a transaction, including the preparation and submission of premerger filings with the Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976.
