The pandemic forced a nation of law students to seek a plan B this summer beyond their interrupted internships. Senior associate Marni Weiner of our New York City office, a member of the Mass Torts and Industry Wide Litigation team, stepped up to assist.
Marni taught a class to students enrolled at the Summer Skills Institute of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Hofstra Law modeled the program after those used by law firms to train their summer and junior associates.
A 2015 Hofstra Law graduate, Marni presented on discovery, covering topics such as litigation holds, civil discovery and e-Discovery.
More on the program in this article from the Long Island Business News.
