In the wake of the 2020 and 2022 elections, discussions about voting rights and voter protection measures have never been more intense. Harris Beach Partner Jared Kasschau, co-leader of our Political Law Practice Group, is joining a Feb. 18 Continuing Legal Education panel in Albany that will explore reform efforts aimed at boosting participation in our elections and preserving the voting franchise for all.
As part of the 52nd Annual Black Latino Hispanic & Asian Legislative Conference, Jared and the panel will also discuss how to improve communication and coordination between voter protection groups, volunteers and officials at local Boards of Elections.
The panel titled, “Lessons from 2022: Voter Protection Results and How Reforms and More Engagement Can Make the Difference in 2024!” is organized by the New York Democratic Lawyers Council. Speaking with Jared on the panel are:
