The Future of Food conference highlighted the innovation and entrepreneurship that is shaping the future of agriculture and food in the region. Hosted by DeFisher Fruit Farm, sessions included investment approaches, new technology in agriculture and a startup showcase. Mike Nozzolio, Harris Beach partner and co-leader of the firm’s Food and Beverage Industry team gave a regional overview of the ecosystem. The event attracted food and agtech startups, business leaders, enterprise farmers, investors, university faculty, government, and other food and agtech enthusiasts.
