Senior Counsel Kareen Zeitounzian is taking on a leadership position with the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys, a chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of New York State. Kareen has been elected as the co-chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, which supports the GRAWA Board in furthering diversity, equity and inclusion within GRAWA, the legal community, and the community at large. Now in its fifth decade, GRAWA assists members in developing and growing a professional network and building their professional practice capabilities. The DEI committee provides an avenue for discussing or addressing diversity, equity and inclusion, and disseminates information to bar members. It also maintains and supports GRAWA’s ongoing involvement in the Hon. Roy W. King Diversity Clerkship Program and the Lawyers’ Coalition For Racial and Social Justice and coordinates GRAWA’s annual participation in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Kareen’s appointment is for two years.
Kareen focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation. She also concentrates on the defense of medical providers and human service agencies on federal and state compliance matters.
