Harris Beach has a strong community presence and commitment through local offices in New York, while also applying our capabilities statewide. Our clients appreciate our proximity as we draw upon resources from across the firm, whether they require regional, national or international solutions.
Strength in Community
Our firm cares deeply about the Saratoga Springs and the neighboring region. Six of our Capital Region attorneys live and work in Saratoga Springs. Several others live in nearby towns. Several on our team have been a part of the Saratoga community for generations.
Our Saratoga attorneys involvement in community and professional activities is demonstrable. They serve or have served as president of the Saratoga County Bar Association and the Saratoga Center for Families, as well as a commissioner on the Saratoga-Capital District State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Commission (appointed by the Governor of New York.) Members of our Saratoga legal team have also held volunteer positions on the Saratoga City School District’s Superintendent Parent Forum Committee, the Temple Sinai Board of Directors, the Adirondack Women’s Bar Association and the SPAC Junior Committee. And for more than a decade, Harris Beach has supported youth sports throughout Saratoga Springs.
Our Saratoga-based team has developed valuable partnerships with not-for-profit organizations, professional and business associations, and cultural institutions and supported a wide range of initiatives important to the community. This happens because our attorneys are part of the fabric of the community we are involved in. Those not-for-profits and business associations are the same ones we rely on as local residents and professionals.
The vitality of our communities depends on the engagement of residents, the diversity of citizens and the support of organizations and institutions. Harris Beach and its Saratoga-based team exemplify that engagement in nearly every corner of the community. Harris Beach attorneys also serve their communities by donating their time to take on on pro bono cases, as we strongly believe in the importance of making the justice system accessible to all.
