Adriana represents clients in our nationally recognized Public Finance and Economic Development group, which counsels local development agencies across New York as well as many New York state agencies. The team represents municipalities, school districts, special improvement districts and leading underwriters, and has significant experience advising public benefit corporations that are developing urban areas through the use of IDAs, urban renewal agencies, condemnation, annexation, increment financing and other programs.
Adriana most recently served law clerk/landlord-tenant specialist for the Union County (N.J.) Superior Court. In this role, she guided parties on landlord-tenant legal proceedings and protections, rental assistance programs and COVID-19 policy and led case management and settlement conferences. Adriana was also the Public Policy, Law and Security Intern at Verizon Communications, where she coordinated legal resources for pro bono and corporate matters and updated and expanded Pro Bono Committee initiatives, including criminal justice reform. She also served as Summer Law Institute Teaching Fellow at NJ LEEP, a college access and success program serving students and families in Newark, N.J. Adriana speaks Italian at near-native proficiency, and is research proficient in French and Spanish.
