Shannon is an experienced litigator in environmental liability, complex chemical exposures, general liability mass tort cases and contractual disputes who specializes in finding creative solutions to complicated matters. She has represented clients against numerous premises liability claims involving catastrophic injuries.
In addition, Shannon provides counsel on the emerging technologies surrounding Web3, non-fungible tokens, other digital assets and the Blockchain.
Shannon is a member of the trial team for the nationally ranked Mass Torts and Industry-Wide Litigation team. Before joining Harris Beach, Shannon distinguished herself as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department in the Special Litigation Unit, handling the City’s most high-profile cases, and the Special State Law Enforcement Division.
While with the City of New York, Shannon litigated hundreds of cases for trial and brought them to resolution in the form of settlement, motion practice, or trial. Shannon’s last trial with the City Law Department was a high-profile police case in Kings County that settled just prior to Plaintiff resting his case.
She was selected as a Team Leader in the office to mentor fellow attorneys, and elected chairperson for the division’s quality of life committee.
