Dave is chief facilities officer for Harris Beach and president of HB Cornerstone LLC, a non-legal consulting subsidiary of the firm. As chief facilities officer for Harris Beach, Dave is responsible for building management, operations and capital projects for the firm’s owned and leased properties. As president of HB Cornerstone, Dave provides clients with expertise in feasibility studies and architectural master planning, design management, grant application support, lease development support, “right to build” support, master budget and schedule development, value engineering, construction document development and review, code assessment and compliance, and construction management and supervision.
Dave brings more than 20 years experience as an architect, facility, and project manager, and has been responsible for the planning and execution of multiple construction projects throughout New York state and Canada. Prior to joining Harris Beach and HB Cornerstone, Dave was vice president, Corporate Real Estate, senior regional asset manager at Citicorp North America, Inc. His responsibilities included building operations and capital project management for approximately 45 Citicorp properties consisting of nearly 750,000 square feet across upstate New York and Canada with a combined operating budget of $18,000,000.
From 1987 to 1997, Dave was a project architect for Hamilton, Houston and Lownie Architects PC in Buffalo, New York. He also served as an intern architect for an architectural firm in Tonawanda, New York. His scope of services included corporate office, residential, health care, hospitality, historic preservation, institutional, and educational projects.
Education
Dave received his Bachelor of Arts in architecture, magna cum laude, and his Master of Arts in architecture from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has been a New York State Licensed Architect since 1992.
