Esther has a diverse set of experiences in financial matters to support her practice in financial restructuring, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights. In addition to negotiating and settling workouts and payment plans with debtors, Esther has practiced in commercial transactions and corporate formations, particularly LLCs, and has researched and authored various legal memorandum concerning federal regulatory compliance for financial institutions, employment law and corporate formation and transactions. Esther also has experience in federal and state labor and employment law, as well as New York State Education Law, representing clients in federal EEOC discrimination matters.
During law school, Esther served as a law clerk for a firm specializing in family law, where she assisted with gathering, evaluating and summarizing financial documents in divorce proceedings. She also conducted research and authored various memorandum regarding child support, equitable division of assets.
Esther also completed clerkships with the in-house legal department of National Fuel Gas Company, working matters in the energy industry, and with a criminal law firm. She also clerked for the Honorable Thérèse Wiley Dancks, magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
Esther played lacrosse for Division III Oswego for four seasons between 2012 and 2016. She won the SUNY Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete Award by State University of New York in 2016 and was also named First Team All-Empire Conference, First Team All-SUNYAC and Oswego State’s Outstanding Senior Female Athlete.
