Tom practices in state and local courts in New York including numerous appearances before the Appellate Division in the 2nd Department of the New York State Supreme Court. He defends clients in federal court matters involving allegations of Title VII employment discrimination and has argued numerous appeals in the Appellate Division dealing with contractual and common law indemnification and contribution and issues surrounding CPLR 2001. He has obtained numerous findings of no probable cause on behalf of employer clients from federal, state, and city administrative agencies after investigation of complaints alleging employment discrimination including national origin, housing, harassment, religious and racial discrimination.
Tom is also a respected community leader in Suffolk County. As chair of the Huntington GOP, he champions policy, political candidates, and lobbying for the shared goals of the community, while revitalizing the Republican base and creating new process management using technology and outreach for long term strategic initiatives within the town, county and state. One of his primary interests has been reaching out to and involving all members of his community to become involved in the political process and have a seat at the table to discuss issues that impact their families and the region.
