Sean works within our nationally recognized Public Finance and Economic Development group to counsels local development agencies across New York as well as many New York state agencies, municipalities, school districts, special improvement districts and leading underwriters. The Public Finance and Economic Development team also has significant experience advising public benefit corporations that are developing urban areas through the use of IDAs, urban renewal agencies, condemnation, annexation, increment financing and other programs.
While in law school, Sean served an internship in the Erie County Surrogate's Court in Buffalo, where he helped draft judge’s decisions, participated in probate hearings, and worked closely with the court’s guardianship department. Once he graduated law school, he began his legal career at a Buffalo firm where he oversaw the firm’s real estate and commercial lending matters.
As an undergraduate, he played football at Alfred University, earning All-American honors and receiving the University All-American Award for excellence in academics and athletics.
