David counsels domestic and international businesses as a member of Harris Beach’s Business and Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He works with clients in a variety of industries, assisting them in misappropriation of trade secrets, qui tam, False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Act litigation, and other business matters. David works out of Harris Beach’s Rochester office.
Prior to joining Harris Beach, David served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford of the United States District Court for the Western District of New York and Associate Judge Andrea L. Hertzfeld of the District of Columbia Superior Court. In law school, David served as the assistant notes editor of the Georgetown Journal of Modern and Critical Race Perspectives and as the president of the Georgetown Law Center ACLU club.
David has an undergraduate degree in English literature, studied abroad in St. Petersburg and Astrakhan, Russia; taught English as a foreign language in Germany; and speaks German conversationally. In his free time, David customizes vintage motorcycles and is an avid runner and triathlete.
