Michael provides counsel to domestic and international businesses of all sizes and at all stages of growth. He represents clients in all aspects of banking, litigation, business disputes, business breakups and divorces, breach of contract claims, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, consumer protection defense, real property litigation, shareholder disputes, and claims of tortious interference and unfair competition. He also collaborates with our Higher Education Industry Team on Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) matters and with our Cannabis Industry Team.
Michael’s extensive experience prior to graduating law school included serving as a judicial intern for the Honorable Charles J. Siragusa, United States District Court, Western District of New York, and interning for Major League Baseball and the New York Mets.
Michael has collaborated with several Major League Baseball teams on salary arbitration. He also worked in a Buffalo Bills Stadium Lease Agreement Practicum, researching funding, facility lease options and transaction documents. Michael graduated from Cornell University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations and playing Division I baseball, and from The University at Buffalo School of Law. Michael works out of Harris Beach’s Rochester office.
