Zim represents clients in state and federal court against claims involving product liability, toxic tort, wrongful death and premises liability. He has developed significant experience defending nationally prominent equipment and product manufacturers. Zim has also worked with national coordinating counsel to develop national defense strategies, prepare witnesses and take client depositions throughout the country. He has participated in discovery proceedings, document and site inspection and utilized experts and investigators in preparing cases for trial. Zim regularly takes lead chair at depositions of plaintiffs and fact witnesses to defend his clients’ interests. Zim has attended national and regional conferences regarding trends and developments in asbestos litigation. Prior to re-joining Harris Beach, Zim opened the New York office of a national law firm and oversaw day-to-day operations.
