Brian’s financial restructuring, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice includes representation of creditors and debtors in various bankruptcy cases across the country, assisting clients with financial workouts and insolvency matters, and developing and implementing collection and litigation strategy.
Brian represents both borrowers and lenders in pre-litigation and pre-bankruptcy workouts. When a matter does proceed with bankruptcy or litigation, Brian continues his representation as he has extensive experience in Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy cases, and in handling related matters in New York state and federal courts.
Brian’s commercial litigation practice includes pursuing and defending breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and fraudulent conveyance claims in both New York State and U.S. Bankruptcy courts. He has also successfully defended large and small corporations in various “preference” cases in Bankruptcy Court brought under Section 547 of the Bankruptcy Code.
Brian’s combined trial and litigation experience helps ensure the best possible outcome for clients in the event a case does go to court, whether it be State, Federal or Bankruptcy Court.
Brian also has extensive experience successfully representing injured individuals in car accident, slip and fall, and work-related cases, as well as representing both large and small corporations in defending such actions.
