Jeff is a civil litigator with a practice broadly focused on products liability, mass torts and general liability matters. He is experienced in all elements of a case, including taking depositions, drafting and arguing substantive motions, propounding and responding to discovery requests, coordinating expert discovery and fact investigation. Jeff also has extensive trial experience in drafting and arguing evidentiary motions, assembling exhibit lists, preparing fact/expert witness disclosures, drafting jury charges and shaping verdict forms.
His focus on these areas has led to notable results, such as obtaining summary judgment dismissal from the bench of a multimillion dollar asbestos exposure suit involving novel legal issues and serving as primary author of a post-trial motion to set aside a verdict that resulted in the largest award of its kind in an upstate New York jurisdiction.
Prior to entering private practice, Jeff served as a volunteer associate for the New Jersey Attorney General’s office. In this role he collaborated with deputy attorneys general to prosecute violations of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. While in law school, he served as a student attorney at Boston College Community Enterprise Clinic, summer counsel for the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and successfully completed an internship with former Justice Helen E. Hoens of the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
