Kevin has extensive experience in employment-based immigration. He regularly handles border processing cases for Canadian citizens seeking admission as business visitors and employment-based non-immigrants, including B-1, TN, L-1A and L-1B (including blanket-based and individual cases), E-1 and E-2 visas. He also counsels multinational corporations and public companies with various non-immigrant visa petitions (H-1B, E-3, TN, E-1, E-2, L-1, B-1, and B-1 in lieu of H-1B) and Green Card cases (EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3) for their foreign national workforce.
Kevin advises companies on worksite compliance issues, including E-Verify and I-9 compliance, I-9 internal audits, and H-1B Labor Condition Application compliance; and advises and works with companies to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the PERM Labor Certification process.
In addition, Kevin also represents individual clients in family-based cases, including the preparation of I-130 and K-1 petitions, adjustment of status applications, and immigrant visa applications and green card interviews.
While in law school he served as a student attorney at the Tax Clinic and the Small Business & Nonprofit Clinic. He is native in Chinese Mandarin.
