Marni is an experienced litigator and strategist in matters involving both general torts and mass torts, with a principal focus on premises liability cases involving catastrophic injuries. She also handles related matters concerning labor law. A growing part of her practice includes the legal implications surrounding NFTs, cryptocurrency, and other new Web3 technologies that span multiple practice areas.
Marni previously served as Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Tort Division of the New York City Law Department. Marni handled an extensive caseload in which she established litigation strategies, argued motions, handled court conferences, conducted and defended depositions, and drafted motions, discovery responses and pleadings. Marni has vast trial experience, serving as first- and second-chair on numerous trials. During her time with the City, she received two Division Chief Awards for excellence in her litigation work.
