William, a first-generation college graduate, law graduate and attorney, focuses his practice on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, litigation, and insolvency matters. He has extensive experience in financial restructuring and recovery involving long-term care facilities such as nursing homes and related creditors.
William also works on litigation and insolvency matters related to New York State’s legalization of adult-use cannabis. He is a frequent speaker on cannabis topics and regularly publishes articles about the licensing process and legislative updates.
In addition to receiving his J.D. from Syracuse University, William earned a certificate for completion of the Advocacy & Litigation Curriculum program at Syracuse University College of Law and received the “Outstanding Graduate” award for the class of 2020.
While in law school, William served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Frederick J. Scullin Jr. of U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and as a legal intern for the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office. He also volunteered for the Community Counsel Project at Legal Services of Central New York, which promotes awareness and prevention of childhood lead poisoning and focuses on the impoverished areas of Syracuse.
